Dinah McKean

Dinah McKean earned her B.A. in English literature from New York State University at Oneonta and her J.D. from California Western School of Law. She began her practice in insurance defense in San Diego with Hillsinger & Costanzo in 1986. Areas of practice over time have ranged from auto and premises liability to a focus on the representation of businesses, employers and professionals in complex construction defect, contract dispute, personal injury, and employment litigation. Dinah has been an attorney with Walsh McKean Furcolo LLP since its inception and became a Partner in 2001. Litigation experience includes acting as lead counsel in numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations, law and motion practice, including appellate work, as well as service as an arbitrator. Dinah is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Defense Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute and is admitted to the California Bar, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Dinah's spare time is spent sailing, hiking, gardening, reading, cooking, traveling and staying connected to her adult children and grandchild.
