John, a founding partner of the firm, is an AV rated attorney primarily engaged in defending insurance coverage, bad faith, general liability, construction defect, professional liability, medical malpractice, employer’s liability and product liability cases since admission to practice law in 1983.  This experience includes both federal and state court actions, as well as serving as local, regional and national counsel in complex litigation.   With both jury and bench trial experience in U.S. District Court and California courts, John has successfully defended litigants since graduation from Loyola Law School in 1983 and being admitted to the California Bar, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, U.S. District Court for the Central, Southern and Northern Districts of California and Eastern District of Michigan.  John is a member of the Defense Research Institute, San Diego Defense Lawyers, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the San Diego County Bar Association.
